To Start Any Networking In Christ Chapter:
1. Establish a place and a time to meet weekly for 60 to 90 minutes.
2. Invite others to join you. Start meeting, even if it's only you and one other. Commit weekly and ask all in attendance to commit to spending a half hour before your next meeting, inviting others. And, weekly, hold all accountable to explain how they spent their half hour and who they invited. No guilt trips, just a fun time of accountability! Follow up with those who did not make the meeting and follow up weekly until they attend or say they are not interested.
3. We will get your chapter registered and post the list of people on our site. As soon as we receive interest from additional people in your area, we'll put them in touch with you to add them to your chapter.
4. Be willing to do a little organizational work and facilitate the initial meetings. We'll supply you with the information you need to make it a snap. We have the information you need to keep it simple.
5. Once your chapter is up and running the chapter will elect those who will lead.* If you want to continue to lead you can offer to be on the ballot, or if not you can step back into a member role. So don't worry, you're not required to lead forever, we just need your help to get things started. * Associate members may not serve in NIC leadership.
